The brand name itself is the biggest selling strategy for Sony. Anyway the product can surely said to be over-priced.

According to the reviews the screen brightness is minimal and its difficult reading with the gadget, the glare being the major difficulty. The downloading features are faster and better. The advantage over Kindle is the presence of back-light which can be turned on whenever necessary. Hence, it is better to wait till Sony correct these mistakes.
